Will never buy another WD It takes forever to try to mount. If you close the laptop while it is still plugged in, you have to go into disk recovery and run first aid.....it is terrible.

Downloaded data into it and then it crashed! I downloaded up to 600 GB in it painstakingly and suddenly it crashed and I lost all that data. It doesn't even show up as a drive in any computer I tried ever since. The light is on but nothing is to be found!

A great device but a little slow It's a great device, but the R/W speeds aren't the best. I typically get about 25 mb/s, sometimes up to 80 mb/s.

Doesnt Last I bought this product close to a year ago for my ps4. It worked great until about about a week ago when suddenly it stopped working. The light comes on and makes funny noises. WD "Passport" Hard Drive Perfect purchase. Item received in a few days and worked perfectly. It's always a pleasure to deal with this company. This hard drive is used to back up my computer so I never have to worry about lost files.
