Not stainless as advertised. This is coated chrome, not stainless as they claim it is. How do you tell? Easy. Take a magnetic and see if it sticks or falls away. Though it helps as my hubby is an engineer (I know - so many people claim this so they "know better", right?). No wonder my dogs will...

Perfect!! This water fountain is PERFECT for my 20 year old cat. She loves it. She no longer wakes me in the middle of the night for fresh water. Thanks Petsafe for a great product!!!
