Media mod mic quality. media mod mic audio sound is very poor quality. Gopro camera mic audio sound quality is twice as good:face_with_one_eyebrow_raised:

Constantly overheats I bought this so when I record my son's soccer games the audio is better and the wind noise is lessened. Media updates Great bit of add on kit used on the Hero 10. Sound quality for the price is a massive improvement agains the standard GoPro mic.

Fragile I bought it and using it for a Rode mic. But it broke after a few months of use. When I plug it in, the USB connection keeps connecting and disconnecting.

Battery swapping nightmare. Great housing allowing very decent voice recording when attached to a helmet by using the rear mic of the mod. Great while it's on but The media mod is a great addition with a great mic and I like that you can add the light. But when the battery runs out, i hate that I have to remove the whole thing to gain access to the battery or memory to swap them out.

Great for displaying footage with friends The only minor issue is with audio feedback. When connecting to the TV any time it is in record mode there is ringing. Also for some reason a 1.5 Amp plug is not enough to keep it from draining while in use.
