We all love LOTR and this set really pulled hit it off with the boys. for the cost... I'd give it a "C" just because it's known Lego has gotten expensive. But, for the reaction my kids gave when they saw the box and put it together... still an A+ reaction and they love the display. Not a complicated...

The pictures of the set make it look okay, but it is much uglier in real life. The Balrog looks nothing like it did in the movie. It looks like a children's stuffed toy. Also, this thing is way overpriced. Would not recommend
