This adapter did not work for me I have an HP computer which in the past has only worked with an HP adapter. My old adapter broke so I purchased a new one and this one simply will not work.

Wrong part! I asked the chat thing what I would need to fit my desktop computer. I gave the chat thing my serial number and model number. With that information they sent me an adapter that doesn’t fit my computer. It’s useless to me. I am very disappointed.
