Best choice for the buck I can tell since yesterady as I bought it the boom 2 plus is really the greatest speaker you can get for this price range the bass is very powerful even with or without the bass boost.

Previous had the jbl xtreme 2 ..was skeptical about the purchase but I love it...great app to provide custom equalizer settings. Bass button which really isn't needed depending on your music genres. Also have the boom se ...which u can sync in pairs
