Meh I was really excited to finally purchase a Dyson, it's a well known and trusted brand from what I had read and heard from others. I made sure it was the one recommended for the flooring I have. Honestly I'm disappointed, it feels like I just paid for the brand name. It spits crumbs backwards, ...

Good, but . . . I have had Dyson stick vacuums before, still have my first one, which is great though the battery only lasts about 10 minutes now. Anyway, the new one is nice, pretty good run time. But I prefer to have the on/off switch under my finger so I can use it with one hand while I do some...

Heavier than expected Had this to replace my hoover hand held. Suction is very good but unfortunately it is far heavier than expected, so makes manoeuvrability difficult for me at 80 yrs old. So can only give 4 stars. Have given it to my niece as it just felt top heavy.

Heavy Hoover I brought this hoover around a month ago, it’s got great suction and run time however it’s very heavy compared to my old Dyson and as I suffer with back pain it’s aggravating this sadly.

Great for pet hair We bought this a few weeks ago and are so pleased we did! We have cats so pet hair is an issue. Not for the Dyson V8 though. The 3 settings are a good idea… you can feel and see the difference when you change depending on the type of clean up you need. The high power setting is...

Suction a bit disappointing I've had this vacuum for about 6 weeks. Its very light and comfortable to use and fairly quiet. The suction could be better and often spits out larger debris such as parrot seed.
