Easy, out of the box, ready to go Easy to set up. Created two partitions, one for Time Machine and one for my backup script. Works great.

Good Dependable Drive With the USB type C connection, the drive transfers files quickly. I have several of these drives, I use them to archive media - video, music, and photos. A couple of them are used for work, so, they are used a lot. I've never had one go down.

excellent portable drive I'm using it now over a year with no issues. This little drive is excellent in performance, I use it for recording music as the drive that has all the samples on it. Will get another one for sure

Worked great for two weeks. Received the drive on 19September 2022 and set it up for Time Machine backups. It immediately began backing up and worked correctly for about two weeks. Very Pleased so far I have only had this back up a few days, but it was a great value and seems to work well. It is small, light, and cute which is important because I do not like my desk to look cluttered. I bought this because my husband had one and recommended it.

Do your homework Very convenient little external portable drive with loads of capacity. I failed to do my homework only to discover it cannot function as a network drive. It only works as a directly connected drive. So it doesn't do what I wanted, but it will suffice for the immediate future.

Quick and Reliable for Time Machine backups I'm using this WD 5TB My Passport Ultra for Mac on my iMac. So far, so good. Set up was as easy as plugging it in and selecting it to be my Time Machine drive. On the downside, it's replacing a 3TB WD My Passport that died.

More than expected Purchased to use with iPad, later reformatted to ExFat so I can move file from different external drives. No problem doing format. Drive is fast!
