Nice functional doorbell Doorbell worked well. Set up easy. Fixing to different wall surface types can be tricky but we managed ok. The bell is easy to set up with app.

Intermittent reliability I replaced a two year old Ring doorbell with the Tapo D235 video doorbell and although the video is better the WiFi signal is poor. The doorbell itself is only sited about 3-4 metres away from the router and within 24hrs it went completely off line and would not reconnect ...

Impressive This video doorbell is all I expected it to be. It was easy to setup and link to my H500 hub (along with two solar powered camera's). I was unsure how long the battery would last, but as I have it set to record when it detects motion, it is down to 93% after 1 week, inc setting it up, p...

Security Very disappointed that I can't monitor the camera for more than ten minutes on Google home. It negates its use as a security camera

Holds its own Swapped from a series 2 ring doorbell to this and it compares well. Some of the features are different but they share the main functions and the Tapo doesn’t disappoint. It’s early days to see how the battery life compares but overall I am happy so far.

Very satisfied customer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an Electrician. I get to install a fair few different types of camera doorbells. Outstanding I have tried a few different smart doorbells now. Starting with the original Ring doorbell many years ago. They have definitely come on a long way. I've recently migrated all of my smart home over to Tapo and I don't regret it. Everything works quickly, is intuitive and a nice simply d...
