I finished this set a couple of days ago and I had a great time building it. The instructions were good and I found no challenging steps, everything worked as it should first try.

I waited for a while for the release of this product. I purchased 2 kits 10 minutes after release. I took my time to build and did it with my son. This kit is missing 2 pieces in bag 4. The 2 pieces are flats 1x2 blue.
The picture below depicts the missing pieces on the manual.

This build is simply amazing from the start til the end! The instruction booklet is massive.

This was my first solo Lego build in almost 33 years. Aside from helping my nephew with his first Technic set several years ago, this was the first time since I was a teenager I have built a Lego set. And I must say it brought the Lego addiction back fast!

When I first saw that Lego was going to make a 1967 Mustang GT, I was getting excited. After purchasing and putting together, I was even in MORE "AWW" at how the car came together. What a pleasure. First ever build for me, 9 hours over 3 days. All the parts were there and I must say, it's genius how it comes together.

I've always wanted to build a lego mustang, and I've modded and merged a couple of different sets trying to build one, but this one is better than anything I ever came close of. Best lego set I have ever owned.

I built this over the course of 6-8 weeks (usually during a Sunday afternoon). I really enjoyed the build - part 4 was the toughest for me requiring me to rebuild multiple times to get it right, but nothing catastrophic. I only used the book for instructions which was part of the challenge.
