Masterpiece! I wanted to upgrade my current wide lens and the 16-35gmII arrived at the perfect time. So far I'm very impressed, it's super sharp all around and the focus is very fast. Only downside is the price of course, but if you make a good use of it you won't regret it.

Very sharp lens Recently got this lens for my upcoming trip. I normally do landscape photography but decided to test the lens with my pet dog. A casual snap here and there revealed very sharp and detail photos. The lens is also lighter than expected. Very happy with the purchase.

Good but... The Sony 16-35mm F2.8 GM II is an optically good lens, there is nothing major to complain about. So versatile This is the only lens I have for my Sony A7 iv. The zoom range covers almost all of my needs. Aurora and astro photography, waterfalls, landscapes, rainforests and fungi.
