Bought this ahead of a trip where I was shooting a lot of video. It turned out to be an absolute must-have, making it so much easier to capture shots when my camera was already out. Very well built; it held up for many trips and under some tough conditions. Throughout, my kit was certainly secure. I use this while hiking with my camera/100-400 lens attached. It is a much more stable and convenient way to carry the combo than a shoulder strap or other capture devices. I love the fact that the mount is compatible with my tripod as well. Publié originalement sur PeakdesignW

I have tried many other ways to carry my camera. My gear (body + 200-500) is to heavy to be carried on the chest for long periods. And it is very annoying to wear a belt and a camera backpack at the same time. The Peak Design clip can be use in so many different ways on a belt or on a bag that it is... I bought this clip a few weeks ago and have tried it out on a few short hikes. It’s perfect for my light weight camera, and works best when I attach it to a thicker/sturdier strap. It secures the camera very well and is easy to release. So far 10/10. Publié originalement sur Peakdesignp

It is amazing that now it is full metal build. I like the craftsmanship and it fits nicely on my Alpaka Messenger. When you are hiking it helps you make sure you have quick and secure way to carry your camera. Pro pad is highly recommend for camera bigger then a point and shoot, or beginner friendly cameras, for longer hikes. Publié originalement sur PeakdesignA

This clip is a game changer. The best on the market. I also have V1 of the capture that I use on my tripod head for quick connect and disconnect. I have those. It is comfortable but if you don’t have your camera or something on it it does tend to dig into your side if you have it on your belt. I just don’t have a good enough back pack for the capture yet so it is on my belt Publié originalement sur PeakdesignG

My husband bought me this, and I thought it was overkill....but then I got it. It's super slick. The plate mounted to the camera base is small and not uncomfortable when holding the camera.
