I had this lens for a few weeks now and it is a pretty good budget lens. the autofocus is really nice and the aperture is really good for portrait photography. The background blur from it is great. Overall Great budget prime lens Publié originalement sur Sonyap-auJ

I have it with me for 9 months now and I still think this is a very versatile lens for not just portrait shooting but products and sceneries as well. Multiple occasions when my 24-105mm lens is not fast enough to capture low light scenes and it just makes it in ease. Publié originalement sur Sonyap-auE

The auto-focus seems to keep searching when in video mode, for photo's its no real issue but when recording video the internal microphone picks up the noise which was frustrating. Unfortunately I returned it due to this. Publié originalement sur Sonyap-aui

I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews about the lens and was expecting very ordinary images. But I’ve been very pleased with the results I’ve had. It is my first Sony a7c using this lens and impress with the portraits shots with bokeh backgrounds however there is noticeable mechanical sound when lens trying to focus and slight delay as well but overall experience using this lens is good and recommended for beginners like me to explore prime le... Worth the Price
I bought this a couple of months ago and it was the first lens I got for my SONY A7III. It's perfect for portraits as well as landscape photography. Its low light performance capability is immaculate.
