I had this lens for almost a year and I noticed a problem. After consulting Sony I was provided with a replacement lens. Best service ever.

So what's with Sony putting a G on G Master for .... possibly the sharpest lens in the world with great Bokeh for portrait work and macro to die for .... this is a dual purpose "must have" no arguments end of story. Thanks Sony for the best glass possible ! Publié originalement sur Sonyap-auB

Purchased this whilst on holiday, from camera house, Perth WA.

I had the opportunity to do some food photography and read that this lens was the perfect choice for this type of photography. I needed a good Macro lens for work use as well as a portrait lens for personal use. Given this was the only native FE mount lens that filled the role I had little choice at the time, but had concerns as it was 'only' a Sony G lens. This is such a sharp versatile lens that I'd recommend it high in the list of anyone's Sony Kit.
With a longer focal length of 90mm and wide aperture, you can get stunning shots with nice bokeh and depth of field for both portraits and macro photography.

I love doing macro shots but always struggling with manual lens and insects on the move since buying this 90mm 2.8 macro for my Sony a6000 problem solved, auto focus is smooth and easy, even on my apsc sensor it works great Publié originalement sur Sonyap-auT

Sony 90mm Macro
The 90mm lens was purchased a few months ago, so far I am very happy with it. The sharpness is really impressive. This reputation as being sharp was the main reason i purchased it.
