1.4 fastness I needed a lens that could handle low light and work with fast moving subjects in blue and red ambient light on stage. To me the nightmare of shoots. this lens surpassed my expectations and that half stop between the 1.8 and 1.4 balanced out the light perfectly.

Heavy but Great Heavy for the mirrorless body but good bokeh and DOF, I use it for night photography and indoor portraits. Quality is not too different from f1.8 lens, but Bokeh is fantastic.

It's okay.... Got it for a month now, very fast focusing, one thing that surprised me is that how far you have to stand back compared to a 50mm lense, you are standing around 3m away from the subject, but once you are used to this, its not such a big deal, maybe in tight spaces this would cause a ...

Very powerful I used it for an Indie film. The footages are of high-cinematic quality, mounted on Sonxy Fx3 body. Excellent value for money in its category

Great contrast! This lens was part of an upgrade from 40 year old equipment, and WOW, what a difference! Colour, clarity and contrast are so good, I almost feel like a professional now. The additional customisable buttons have made my life so much easier.
