Carrying the tripod over the shoulder while out in the field with the camera attached feels so much better with the flat sided legs. carried it like that for several hours looking for wild life. light weight and really nice to carry. Publié originalement sur Peakdesignp

It's very light very sturdy and amazingly well thought out I love the loops to add a strap I use the peak design quick release strap so can use on bag or tripod love how it has the Allen key to tighten stuff up on Tripod if need be Publié originalement sur PeakdesignN

Impressed by the quality of the construction, but seems the smallest parts are weak.
Slightly unstable fully extended, but steady if one puts on weight.

A solid tripod worth the money - especially if you're already in the Peak Design system. The ability to quickly deploy and lockdown the DSLR to the tripod actually makes me excited to use it versus the chore of switching baseplates or dealing with adapters on my previous tripod. This tripod is very small and very stable, however, I wish I had the carbon fiber version. My coworker bought the carbon fiber version when I got the aluminum version and I have regrets. I own several tripods and this is by far my favorite travel one. It is light and folds to small size to fit in my suitcase or carry-on. Once I figured out how to add a standard Arca plate that works with my camera carry system , I can use it more. The only complaint is the location of the tool set ... This is almost insane - this is, by far, the best tripod that I have ever used! I know there is a carbon fiber version, and I'm sure that is, technically, "better," but due to only doing personal photos and having a YouTube vlog channel, we went with the aluminum version, and we do not regret it.
